Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup chopped peanuts
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

Line a 9×9-inch baking dish with parchment paper. In a large bowl, combine the oats, peanut butter, and honey.

Mix until well combined.

Stir in the chopped peanuts, chocolate chips, and chopped pecans. Press the mixture into the prepared baking dish.

Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

Cut into 9 bars. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.

Notes

For the best results, use creamy peanut butter and high-quality honey for a richer flavor. If you find the mixture too sticky, add a little more oats.

Conversely, if it’s too dry, add a tiny bit more honey.

Make sure to press the mixture firmly into the baking dish to get clean cuts. If the mixture is too hard to cut, refrigerate it for another 15 minutes.

Store the bars in the refrigerator to prevent chocolate chips from melting.
