Yields
10 servings
Ingredients
- 2 cups of cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup of ranch dressing
- 1/2 cup of chopped green onions
- 1/2 cup of diced red bell pepper
- 1/2 cup of diced cucumber
- 1/2 cup of diced cooked chicken
- 1 tablespoon of prepared horseradish
- 1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 10 large tortilla wraps
- Shredded cheddar cheese for garnish
Instructions
In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, ranch dressing, chopped green onions, diced red bell pepper, diced cucumber, diced cooked chicken, prepared horseradish, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all the ingredients are fully incorporated.
Lay a large tortilla wrap flat on a clean surface.
Spread about 1/4 cup of the cream cheese mixture evenly over the center of the tortilla, leaving a 1-inch border around the edges. Sprinkle some shredded cheddar cheese over the cream cheese mixture.
Roll the tortilla tightly but gently, starting from one of the long edges.
Repeat the process with the remaining tortillas and cream cheese mixture. Cut each rolled tortilla into 1-inch thick slices to create the pinwheels.
Garnish each pinwheel with some shredded cheddar cheese and serve chilled.
Refrigerate the pinwheels for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld together.
Notes
Make sure to soften the cream cheese to room temperature before mixing, it’ll make the process much smoother. Don’t overmix the cream cheese mixture, you want it to be just combined.
Use any leftover veggies you have on hand, like carrots or zucchini, to add some extra flavor and nutrients to your pinwheels.
To get the perfect roll, make sure the tortilla is flat and even, and apply gentle pressure while rolling. If you’re not serving immediately, you can store the pinwheels in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days.
Keep in mind that the longer they chill, the better the flavors will meld together, so try to resist temptation and let them sit for at least 30 minutes!
