What is Monster cookie made of?

Monster Cookies are a combination of peanut butter, oats, chocolate chips and M&Ms. While many Monster Cookie recipes add in other things like coconut, butterscotch chips, or chopped peanuts, these four traditional things are what truly make classic Monster Cookies just that — Monster Cookies.

So what makes these cookies so monstrous? Let’s start with the peanut butter. Peanut butter is a key ingredient in many classic American cookies, including the ever-popular Toll House cookie. It adds a rich flavor and creamy texture to the cookies that can’t be beat.

Next up are the oats. Oats add a healthy dose of fiber to these cookies, helping to keep you fuller longer. They also give the cookies a hearty texture that pairs perfectly with the peanut butter and chocolate.

And then there are the chocolate chips and M&Ms. These two ingredients are what really take these cookies over the top. The chocolate chips provide a melted pool of goodness in every bite, while the M&Ms add a pop of color and sweetness that can’t be beat.
