Ingredients

• 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
• 1 cup packed brown sugar
• 1 cup white sugar
• 2 large eggs, beaten
• 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
• 1 teaspoon coffee-flavored liqueur (optional)
• 2 1/2 cups rolled oats
• 2 cups all-purpose flour
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1 1/2 cups candy-coated milk chocolate pieces

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 375°F and grease cookie sheets.

2. In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugars using an electric mixer.

3. Add eggs, vanilla and coffee-flavored liqueur; mix well.

4 4. Measure the oatmeal and blend in a blender to a fine powder; add to mixture along with flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt; mix well until blended then stir in candy pieces 5. Roll into balls and place 2 inches apart on prepared cookie sheets.; bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges start to turn golden brown
