3. Place the eggs into a mixing bowl set over a pan of hot (not boiling) water. Add the 1/2 cup sugar to the eggs and whisk until the mixture feels warm (not hot) to the touch, about body temperature. Place the bowl onto a mixer and beat on medium speed until the mixture becomes pale yellow in color and falls off the end of the whisk attachment in long ribbons. Add vanilla extract then add about 1/3 of flour mixture to beaten egg mixture and fold in gently with spatula or spoon till combined then continue adding remainder of flour folding it each time till all is used up do not over mix .

4..Place about 1 cup batter into small bowl containing melted butter stir together until well blended then pour this back into main batter folding it in gentlyby cutting down middle

5 And across bottom bringing spatula up along side making sure to get all way to top do not overmix now pour
