  • 3 tablespoons milk


1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).

2. In a medium bowl, cream together the 1/2 cup butter, brown sugar, egg, vanilla, and sour cream until smooth.

3. Add in the baking powder, soda, and flour; mix well. Stir in the chopped cashews.

4. Drop dough by teaspoonfuls onto buttered baking sheets (you can use parchment paper instead of buttering the sheets).

5. Bake for 8 to 10 minutesUntil lightly golden brown around the edges remove from oven, and cool on wire racks..

6 Make The Icing: Heat 1/2 cup butter or margarine in a saucepan over low heat until it is light amber colored. Remove pan from heat, and stir in confectioners’ sugar and 3 tablespoons milk until smooth.. You may need to add more milk to get desired consistency 7 . Frost cookies with this icing once cooled
