Pink Mimosa
Celebrate in style with this refreshing twist on the classic mimosa! Our Pink Mimosa is a delightful combination of tangy pink grapefruit juice and bubbly champagne, sweetened with a touch of sugar.
Perfect for special occasions, this fruity and festive drink is sure to impress your guests.

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups pink grapefruit juice
- 1 1/2 cups champagne or sparkling wine
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- Slices of pink grapefruit for garnish
Instructions
Pour the pink grapefruit juice into a large pitcher or jug.
Add the granulated sugar and stir until it’s completely dissolved.
Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.
Chill the champagne or sparkling wine in the refrigerator as well.
Just before serving, slowly pour the champagne or sparkling wine into the pitcher with the grapefruit mixture.
Stir gently to combine.
Fill champagne flutes or wine glasses about 2/3 full with the Pink Mimosa mixture.
Garnish each glass with a slice of pink grapefruit.
Serve immediately and toast to your special occasion!
Notes
For a lighter drink, reduce the amount of sugar or omit it altogether, especially if you’re using a sweeter sparkling wine.
You can also adjust the amount of sugar to your taste.
If you want a more intense grapefruit flavor, use 2 cups of pink grapefruit juice.
For a more festive look, garnish with a slice of pink grapefruit and a sprig of fresh rosemary or mint.
You can prepare the grapefruit mixture ahead of time and store it in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
Just give it a good stir before adding the champagne.
To make individual servings, simply pour the grapefruit mixture into a glass, top with champagne, and garnish.
Consider using a brut or extra-dry champagne to balance out the sweetness of the grapefruit.
