Ingredients
- 2 pounds thick-cut bacon, preferably applewood-smoked or brown sugar-cured
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil or parchment paper, making cleanup a whole lot easier.
Cut the thick-cut bacon into 5 equal portions, about 6 slices each.
This way, everyone gets a decent amount of crispy goodness. Place the bacon slices on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer, leaving a little space between each slice to allow for even cooking.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the bacon reaches your desired level of crispiness.
You might need to flip the slices halfway through the cooking time, depending on your oven. Remove the bacon from the oven and let it cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes.
Then, transfer the slices to a paper towel-lined plate to drain any excess fat.
Serve hot and savor the smoky, sweet, and meaty goodness!
