Notes
Use fresh and ripe oranges, grapefruits, and pineapples for the best flavor and nutrients.
You can also use a juicer to extract the juices if you don’t have a manual squeezer.
Make sure to wash the fruits thoroughly before juicing them.
If using frozen mixed berries, make sure to thaw them first by leaving them at room temperature for a few hours or by thawing them in the refrigerator overnight.
Adjust the amount of honey according to your taste preferences.
You can also use other sweeteners like maple syrup or stevia if you’re watching your sugar intake.
Be cautious when handling fresh ginger, as the juice can stain your skin and surfaces.
Wear gloves and use a cutting board that can withstand stains.
For a more intense flavor, let the mixture chill in the refrigerator for a few hours or even overnight.
You can also make the juice a day ahead and store it in the refrigerator overnight.
Feel free to customize the recipe to your taste by adding other fruits or spices.
Some options include a squeeze of fresh lime juice, a sprinkle of cinnamon, or a handful of spinach leaves for an extra nutritional boost.
Divide the juice into smaller batches and store them in airtight containers in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.
Simply give it a good stir before serving.
