Ingredients

  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 cup butter
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup white sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract,
  • 1 cup raisins,
  • 1 cup flaked coconut,
  • 1 cup whole wheat flake cereal

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C).

2. Mix together the brown sugar, butter, all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt in a bowl in the order given.

3. In another bowl, whisk together the white sugar, eggs, baking powder, and vanilla extract.
