Sriracha Orange Glazed Green Beans

These green beans are the perfect side dish for any spicy food lover. The sriracha orange glaze is sweet, tangy, and has just the right amount of heat. The beans are cooked until they are tender but still crisp, and the glaze is applied just before serving.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb green beans, trimmed
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/3 cup orange marmalade
  • 1 1/2 tsp soy sauce
  • 1/2 tsp Sriracha

Instructions

1. Fill a 4-quart pot half-way with water and add 2 teaspoons of salt. Bring water to a boil.

2. Place green beans in the boiling water and cook for 5 minutes, or until tender.

3. Remove from heat, strain out hot water, and place in a bowl of icy water to stop cooking process. Drain and place in large bowl when cooled.

4. In a small bowl, mix together orange marmalade, soy sauce, Sriracha sauce, sugar (if needed), and additional soy sauce/Sriracha (to taste). Add this mixture to the green beans and toss to coat evenly.

5 Serve immediately
