Ready Time
10 mins
Yields
7 servings
Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups plain Greek yogurt
- 1 3/4 cups frozen strawberries
- 3 kiwis, peeled and chopped
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup ice
- 1/4 cup almond milk
Instructions
Add the Greek yogurt, frozen strawberries, chopped kiwis, honey, and vanilla extract to a blender. Blend on high speed until smooth and creamy, stopping to scrape down the sides of the blender as needed.
Add the ice and blend until the ice is fully incorporated and the mixture is thick and frosty.
Pour in the almond milk and blend until well combined. Taste and adjust the sweetness or consistency as needed.
Divide the smoothie among 7 glasses and serve immediately.
Notes
Use fresh kiwis for the best flavor and texture, but if you’re in a pinch, frozen kiwi will work too! If your strawberries are particularly sweet, you might be able to reduce the amount of honey you add.
Feel free to play around with the amount of honey to your taste.
Make sure to thaw your frozen strawberries before blending for the smoothest texture.
You can also sub in other types of milk if you’re not a fan of almond milk – just keep in mind it might change the flavor slightly.
If you want a thicker smoothie, add a little more ice.
If you want a thinner smoothie, add a little more almond milk! You can also add a few spinach leaves to the blender for a green smoothie that’s packed with nutrients – the sweetness of the fruit will mask the flavor of the spinach.
