Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise, 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard, 1 teaspoon prepared horseradish, 1/2 teaspoon dried minced onion, 1/4 teaspoon paprika, 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder, Salt and pepper to taste, 4 ounces cream cheese, softened, 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley, 1/4 cup chopped fresh dill, 2 cups cooked and flaked chicken breast, 10 hamburger buns, 20 slices of bacon, 2 large tomatoes, sliced, 10 lettuce leaves, 10 slices of Swiss cheese
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with foil and lay the bacon slices on it.
Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until crispy.
Set aside. In a medium bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, horseradish, dried minced onion, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
In a large bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, chopped parsley, and chopped dill.
Mix well until smooth. Add the cooked and flaked chicken breast to the cream cheese mixture and mix until well combined.
Split the hamburger buns in half and toast them lightly.
To assemble the sandwiches, spread a layer of the mayonnaise mixture on the bottom bun, followed by a slice of tomato, a few leaves of lettuce, a slice of Swiss cheese, a few slices of crispy bacon, and finally a spoonful of the chicken-cream cheese mixture. Top with the top bun.
Repeat the process to make 10 sandwiches.
Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
Make sure to toast the hamburger buns lightly to prevent them from becoming too crispy.
Also, keep an eye on the bacon while it’s baking, as the cooking time may vary depending on your oven.
If you want to add some extra flavor, you can also add some chopped onions or pickle slices to the sandwiches.
For a lighter version, you can use reduced-fat cream cheese and mayonnaise.
Don’t overmix the chicken-cream cheese mixture, as it can become too dense.
If you’re making the sandwiches ahead of time, assemble them just before serving to prevent the bread from getting soggy.
