Yields

9 servings

Ingredients

  • 3 cups frozen strawberries
  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 1 1/2 cups plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract, pinch of salt,
  • 1/4 cup granola,
  • sliced almonds,
  • shredded coconut,
  • Fresh strawberries and banana slices for garnish

Instructions

Add the frozen strawberries, ripe bananas, Greek yogurt, unsweetened almond milk, honey, vanilla extract, and pinch of salt to a blender and blend until smooth and creamy, stopping to scrape down the sides of the blender as needed. Pour the smoothie mixture into 9 bowls, dividing it evenly among them.

Top each bowl with a spoonful of granola, a sprinkle of sliced almonds, and a sprinkle of shredded coconut.

Garnish each bowl with a few slices of fresh strawberries and banana. Serve immediately and get ready to devour these delicious smoothie bowls!

Notes

Use fresh or frozen strawberries – either works great, but thaw frozen ones first! Make sure those bananas are ripe for the best flavor and texture. Don’t have unsweetened almond milk?

Regular almond milk or another non-dairy milk will work too.

Add a little more honey if you prefer your smoothies sweeter, or less if you’re watching your sugar intake. Granola, sliced almonds, and shredded coconut are optional toppings, but they add amazing crunch and flavor! Feel free to customize your toppings with your favorite fruits, nuts, or seeds – the possibilities are endless! You can also use other types of yogurt, like coconut or regular, if you don’t have Greek yogurt on hand.

These smoothie bowls will keep in the fridge for up to 2 days, but they’re best served fresh and immediately.

If you’re making these for a party or gathering, consider using smaller bowls for a fun and easy snack or appetizer.
