Ready Time

Yields
7 servings
Ingredients
- 7 ears of corn, husked and silked
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
- 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
- Salt, to taste
- Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Instructions
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
If you don’t have a grill, you can also use your broiler.
In a small bowl, mix together the softened butter, Old Bay seasoning, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
Brush the mixture evenly onto each ear of corn, making sure to coat all surfaces.
Place the corn on the grill, turning every 2-3 minutes, until slightly charred and tender, about 10-12 minutes.
If using your broiler, cook for 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally.
Remove from heat and serve immediately.
Notes
Use high-quality, fresh corn for the best flavor and texture.
If you can’t find Old Bay seasoning, you can substitute with a mix of paprika, celery salt, and cayenne pepper, but keep in mind the flavor won’t be exactly the same.
Don’t overmix the butter mixture, or it’ll become too dense and hard to spread.
Make sure to grill or broil the corn at the right temperature, so you get that nice char on the outside and tender interior.
If you’re worried about the corn drying out, you can always wrap it in foil with some water and herbs for added moisture.
