Julie’s Pizza Cookie

This is my go-to recipe for a quick and easy pizza cookie. It’s perfect for when you’re craving pizza but don’t want to deal with the hassle of making dough from scratch. This cookie has all the classic toppings – pepperoni, mozzarella, and tomato sauce – in one bite.

  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 3/4 cup mini semi-sweet chocolate chips (or use regular size chocolate chips)
  • 3/4 cup sweetened whipped cream (or use unsweetened whipped cream)
  • 3 tablespoons chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)
  • 3 tablespoons flaked coconut (optional) More information on how to choose and store nuts. 1/2 cup candy-coated milk chocolate pieces

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

2. In a medium bowl, cream together the brown sugar, white sugar, and butter until smooth.

3. Mix in egg and vanilla.

4. Combine the flour and baking soda; stir into the batter until mixed in well. Dough will be stiff.

5. Mix in mini chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout dough then spread or pat dough onto an ungreased 12 inch pizza pan or cookie sheet.

6. Bake for 15 minutes in the preheated oven, or until golden brown; let cool before topping with whipped cream, nuts, coconut and chocolate candies.

7 . Just before serving, spread cookie with whipped cream then sprinkle with nuts, coconut and chocolate candies.. Cut into wedges and enjoy!
