10 mins

Yields

4 servings

Ingredients

  • 1 ripe mango, diced
  • 1 1/2 cups frozen pineapple chunks
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Ice cubes (as needed)
  • Toppings: sliced fresh mango, shredded coconut, granola, chopped nuts

Instructions

Add the diced mango, frozen pineapple chunks, Greek yogurt, unsweetened almond milk, honey, and vanilla extract to a blender and blend on high speed until smooth and creamy. Add ice cubes to the blender if you want a thicker consistency and blend again until the ice is crushed and the smoothie is the desired consistency.

Pour the smoothie into four bowls.

Top each bowl with sliced fresh mango, shredded coconut, granola, and chopped nuts. You can get creative with the toppings and add your favorite fruits, nuts, or seeds.

Serve immediately and relax with this delicious and refreshing treat!

Notes

Use fresh and ripe mango for the best flavor and creamy texture. You can also use frozen mango if fresh is not available, just thaw it first.

Make sure to choose a plain Greek yogurt that’s unflavored and unsweetened, as it will give a nice tanginess to the smoothie.

If you’re using honey that’s crystallized, just microwave it for a few seconds to liquefy it before adding it to the blender. Add more or less of the unsweetened almond milk depending on how thick or thin you like your smoothie.

You can also substitute it with other non-dairy milk alternatives.

You can prep the toppings ahead of time and store them in separate containers in the fridge for up to a day. Feel free to customize the toppings to your liking, and don’t be afraid to get creative and add your own favorite fruits, nuts, or seeds.

You can also make this smoothie in advance, store it in the fridge for up to a day, and top it just before serving.

However, it’s best consumed immediately for the best texture and flavor. If you’re serving this at a party or gathering, consider setting up a topping bar with all the ingredients and let everyone create their own smoothie bowl masterpieces!
