Ready Time
5 mins
Yields
8 servings
Ingredients
- 2 cups frozen pineapple
- 1 cup frozen mango
- 1 cup coconut water
- 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Ice cubes (as needed)
Instructions
Add the frozen pineapple, frozen mango, coconut water, Greek yogurt, almond milk, honey, salt, and vanilla extract to a blender.
Blend the mixture on high speed until smooth and creamy.
Add ice cubes if you want a thicker consistency.
Blend again until the ice is crushed and the smoothie is the desired thickness.
Pour the smoothie into glasses and serve immediately.
You can store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.
Notes
Use fresh pineapple or mango if you have them on hand, but frozen will work just as well and is a great option to have on hand in the freezer for a quick smoothie. If you want a thicker smoothie, add more ice or a scoop of ice cream! You can also add a handful of spinach or kale to the blender for an extra nutritional boost – the sweetness of the fruit will mask the greens.
Experiment with different spices like cinnamon or nutmeg to give your smoothie a unique flavor.
If you prefer a creamier smoothie, add a little more Greek yogurt or substitute some of the almond milk with coconut cream.
