Brownies I

These tasty brownies are perfect for when you’re craving something sweet. They’re quick and easy to make, and they’ll satisfy your chocolate cravings in no time!

Ingredients

  • -6 squares unsweetened chocolate
  • -2/3 cup butter
  • -2 cups white sugar
  • -4 eggs
  • -1 1/4 cups all purpose flour
  • -1 tsp salt
  • -1 tsp baking powder
  • -1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9 x 13 inch pan.

2. Melt the chocolate and butter in the top of a double-boiler, stirring sporadically. When melted and combined, add the sugar and eggs, and stir until combined.

3. Sift the flour, salt, and baking powder into the pan; stir until combined. Stir in the nuts (or raisins, or M&M candies, or toffee bits, etc.).

4. Spread the batter in the pan, smoothing it into corners 5. Bake for about 35 minutes but don’t let it over bake 6 .Cool before cutting
