Ingredients

  • 1 pound Irish sausage, sliced
  • 1 large onion, chopped

  • 1 cup of chicken broth
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 2 tablespoons of all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon of dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon of dried rosemary
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons of butter

Instructions

Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a large pot over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.

Add the sliced Irish sausage and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.

Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute, stirring constantly to prevent burning. Add the chopped potatoes, chicken broth, milk, flour, thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper.

Stir well to combine.

Notes
