Ingredients
- 4 ripe avocados, 3 1/2 cups frozen pineapple, 2 cups frozen berries, 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt, 1/2 cup milk, 1 tablespoon honey, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract, ice cubes as needed
Instructions
Add the avocados, frozen pineapple, frozen berries, Greek yogurt, milk, honey, and vanilla extract to a blender.
Blend the mixture on high speed until smooth and creamy.
Taste and adjust the sweetness or consistency as needed.
You may want to add more honey if you prefer it sweeter, or more milk if you want a thinner consistency.
Add ice cubes if you want a thicker, colder smoothie.
Blend again until the ice is crushed and the smoothie is the desired consistency.
Pour the smoothie into 7 glasses and serve immediately.
You can garnish with additional frozen berries or a sprinkle of granola, if desired.
Notes
Make sure to use ripe avocados for the creamiest texture, if they’re not ripe enough the smoothie might be a bit chunky.
You can also use other types of milk like almond or coconut milk if you’re looking for a dairy-free option.
If you want a stronger avocado flavor, you can use 5 or 6 avocados, just keep in mind that it might change the texture.
You can also add other ingredients like spinach or protein powder to give the smoothie an extra nutritional boost.
If you don’t have frozen pineapple, you can use fresh pineapple and add a few more ice cubes to the blender.
Don’t over-blend the mixture or it might become too frothy, just blend until it’s smooth and creamy.
You can store the smoothie in the fridge for up to 24 hours, just give it a good stir before serving.
