A refreshing pick-me-up on a warm day is just what you need! This Iced Coffee Protein Smoothie is the perfect blend of energizing coffee, satisfying protein, and sweet tropical flavors. With a boost of protein powder and a hint of honey, this smoothie will keep you going all morning long.

Ingredients
- 1 cup strong brewed coffee, 1 1/2 cups unsweetened almond milk, 1 scoop vanilla protein powder, 1/2 cup frozen pineapple, 1/2 cup frozen berries, 1 tablespoon honey, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract, Ice cubes (as needed)
Instructions
Add the strong brewed coffee, unsweetened almond milk, vanilla protein powder, frozen pineapple, frozen berries, honey, and vanilla extract to a high-powered blender.
Blend on high speed until smooth and creamy.
Taste and adjust the sweetness by adding more honey if needed.
Add ice cubes to the blender if you want a thicker, colder smoothie.
Blend again until the ice is crushed and the smoothie is the desired consistency.
Pour into four glasses and serve immediately.
Notes
Use leftover coffee from the morning to make this refreshing smoothie, or brew a fresh cup just for this recipe. If you’re not a fan of almond milk, feel free to substitute it with another non-dairy milk alternative.
You can also customize the flavor by using different protein powder flavors like chocolate or strawberry.
If the smoothie is too thick, add a little more almond milk. Experiment with different types of honey, like raw or manuka, for distinct flavor profiles.
Frozen mango or peaches can be used in place of pineapple for a different tropical twist.
For a more intense coffee flavor, use espresso instead of brewed coffee. The addition of ice cubes will dilute the flavor slightly, so adjust the amount of honey accordingly.
You can make this smoothie ahead of time, but it’s best consumed fresh for the best flavor and texture.
