White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookies II

These are the perfect cookies for any white chocolate lover! They are made with real white chocolate and macadamia nuts, and are so soft and chewy.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 cup shortening
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 ½ teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cup white chocolate chips macadamia nuts, chopped

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (180 degrees Celsius) and lightly grease cookie sheets.

2. Beat together the butter and shortening until soft and creamy, then gradually add the sugars while beating well.

3. Add in the egg and vanilla, beat well again, then set aside.

4. In a separate bowl, combine flour, soda, and salt; gradually add this mixture to the butter mixture while beating well after each addition until everything is combined. Stir in chips and nuts lastly .

5 . Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls onto lightly greased cookie sheets; bake for 10-12 minutes or until done; remove to wire racks to cool completely before serving
