Sugarless Cookies II

These sugarless cookies are the perfect way to satisfy your sweet tooth without all of the sugar. Made with almond flour and a touch of honey, they are crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. Enjoy them as is, or top them with a little bit of dark chocolate for an extra special treat!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • ½ teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1 teaspoon ground allspice
  • ½ cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 cup quick cooking oats
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 1 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • ½ cup vegetable oil or melted butter/ margarine
  • 2 eggs beaten OR 1/2 a mashed banana plus 2 tablespoons milk of choice OR 1/4 cup applesauce plus 1/4 cup water (vegan options) as egg replacer

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).

2. Mix dry ingredients, then add remaining ingredients. Dough will be thin.

3. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto cookie sheet.

4. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes
