There’s nothing like a homemade cookie, and these salted peanuts cookies are the perfect way to show someone you care. Made with real butter and sugar, they’re crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. The addition of salt gives them an irresistible flavor that will have everyone coming back for more.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups salted peanuts

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).

2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.

3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this to the wet ingredients, mixing until everything is well blended. Stir in the peanuts.

4. Drop rounded teaspoons of dough onto a lightly greased baking sheet, leaving about 2 inches between each cookie. Flatten slightly with the bottom of a glass that has been dipped in sugar (this will prevent sticking).

5 Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown.”
