No Bake Chocolate Oat Bars

These No Bake Chocolate Oat Bars are a delicious and easy treat to make! They only require a few simple ingredients and can be made in just a few minutes. These bars are perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth without all the guilt.


  • 1 cup butter,
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar,
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract,
  • 3 cups quick cooking oats,
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips,
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter


1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Grease a 9×9 inch square pan with butter and set aside.

2. In a large saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in brown sugar and vanilla extract until combined. Mix in the oats and cook over low heat for 2-3 minutes or until ingredients are well blended.

3. Press half of the oat mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan, reserving the other half for topping later on.

4. In a small heavy saucepan, melt chocolate chips and peanut butter over low heat stirring frequently until smooth.. Pour this chocolate mixture over the crust in the pan and spread evenly with a knife or back of spoon..

5 Crumble remaining oat mixture over chocolate layer pressing gently then cover and refrigerate for 2-3 hours or overnight.. Bring to room temperature before cutting into bars..
