Creme de Menthe Cake I

This classic cake has a delicious creme de menthe filling and frosting. It’s perfect for any occasion!


  • 1 (18.25 ounce) package white cake mix
  • 3 tablespoons creme de menthe liqueur
  • 1 cup chocolate syrup
  • 8 ounces frozen whipped topping, thawed
  • 4 tablespoons creme de menthe liqueur


1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour one 9×13 inch baking pan.

2. In a large bowl, combine cake mix, 3 tablespoons creme de menthe liqueur, and 1 cup chocolate syrup. Mix well. Pour batter into prepared pan.

3. Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.

4.. Remove from oven and while HOT, poke holes in cake with fork then pour chocolate syrup over the top Refrigerate (or freeze if desired) After cooling mix whipped topping with 2 tablespoons of creme de menthe spread on cake Keep refrigerated Freezes great
