Blonde brownies are a delicious and easy to make dessert. This recipe is for a classic blondie that is perfect for any occasion. These blondies are chewy, gooey, and full of flavor.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ⅔ cup butter, melted and cooled
  • 2 cups packed light brown sugar
  • 4 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup mini semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.

2. In a medium bowl, stir together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

3. In a large bowl, mix together melted butter or margarine and brown sugar until well blended. Beat in eggs and vanilla extract until mixture is light and fluffy.

4. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing just until all of the flour is moistened. Stir in mini chocolate chips and chopped walnuts if desired. Pour batter into prepared pan.

5 Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until brownies are lightly golden brown and set when lightly pressed with a finger in the center of the pan . Cool completely before cutting into bars
